  17. This file contains information about the program that is not included in the user manual.

  19. 1.    The Macintosh version requires no installation. 
  20.  
  21. 2.    We strongly recommend running the program in a resolution of 640 x 480 with 256 colors for best performance.  The program can be run in higher resolutions if you prefer; however, the image will be smaller and will be surrounded by a much larger black border.  Also, if you run the program displaying more than 256 colors (it will not work with less), the fades between screens won't work; instead, the program will cut from screen to screen.

  23. 3.    When launching the program, you may skip the introduction by either clicking the mouse button or by pressing the spacebar to reach the navigation screen.  The spacebar can be used at any time for this purpose.  The keyboard arrow keys will cause an immediate transition to the previous (left arrow key) or next (right arrow key) screen.
